Bruno Engler served as a Special Advisor for the project. Filmed at Bow Lake and at the Peyto Lake Lookout, the plot follows an outlaw trapper who steals a snowmobile from outside a North West Mounted Police outpost, prompting a Marx Brothers-style chase wherein the Mountie attempts to apprehend the outlaw on snowshoes, skis, horse, truck, and snowmobile, which he eventually does.

The reel also contains footage of the installation of a power line between Banff and Lake Louise - mostly consisting of shots from the ground of the helicopter picking up, flying with, and placing the poles. Most of this footage is underexposed.
