- An oil sketch of a mountain landscape. The primary colours used in this painting are blue, green, orange and grey. The centre of the work presents a mountain range which is rendered in green and purple, and lined in orange. The grey clouds in the sky are also lined in orange. The lower third of the work is blue, with a small section of grey and green on the left which extends to the middle of the lower section of the canvas. The artist’s signature is in the brhc in grey paint. Au verso, written in black ink in the thlc, “49/V-2”.
