- A rectangular lidded box, hand-carved from soft marble-talc, which is black with white streaks in it. The box and its base are fluted on all exposed surfaces, and the top, but not the sides, of the lid is similarly fluted. The lid is a flat slab which fits flushly into/onto the box.
