- A bright orange canvas belt that fastens with a natural coloured leather buckle and strap. The buckle is also leather covered. The belt has been used to hold a pin and medal collection, many of which are still attached. Original with the belt and on leather at either end are 'Overseas Mounted Rifles' pin (at buckle) and a crossed sword pin (at strap). - A flat-based, straight-sided birchbark box with smooth, flush, overfitting lid. Walls decorated with pink and white porcupine quills, and walls of lid similarly decorated. The top of the lid is decorated with an overlapped pattern of brown and white quills in a floral motif, with "stamens" of green quills bursting from the centre. About 5% of the quills are loose at one end, some quills lost. Thread which binds grass to rim of lid has frayed severely. Box contains six quartz crystals.
