Shape formed by curled thistle stem which knots into itself with an enamelled pink thistle in the middle and enameled green leaves curling around the outside. - A large silver pin in shape of arrowhead with turquoise stone. Flat, triangular shape with sharply tanged shoulders and wide basal shaft. Single, oval, rounded piece of turquoise , 1.2 x .6 cm, set into simple fitting at centre of arrowhead just above shoulders. Surface of pin engraved with symbols and marks, arrows, clouds, sun. Pin slightly arced from tip to stem. Long, hinged pin shaft attached at base, fastening under hook clasp at point on back, hand-made.
