- A large, footed silver bowl with a flared lip and a cover. Both the bowl and the lid have a petal design. There is some etched design around rim and on lid. The bowl has an illegible stamp on the bottom. Most of the silver plate has worn off and the base is extremely battered.

- A coal miner's safety lamp, heavy brass base which acts as fuel chamber is surmounted by a glassed in cylinder protected by strong vertical shafts of wire. A brass ring atop them which supports, by steel shafts, a top plate with a large hook on it for hanging the lamp. Between the upper ring and the top plate is a wire mesh cylinder which allows oxygen to feed the flame but which diffuses the heat rising from the flame. The lamp itself consists of a wick which draws fuel from the reservoir, and beside it is a small wire hook which can be operated from the bottom of the lamp base to extinguish the flame.
