Scope & Content: File consists of portraits depicting Stoney Nakoda families and individuals [some not identified] from the early and mid-1900s. Named individuals in photographs include members of the Hunter, Twoyoungmen, Crawler, McLean and Rollinmud families. Includes several early portraits by Byron Harmon [1906]; 6 photograph prints on matboard depicting John Hunter and Job Stevens “staging a battle” [1903]; and two early photograph prints depicting Blackfoot Chief Crowfoot [1885] and Cree Chief Poundmaker. [ca.1884-1886].

Notes: Some names spelled incorrectly in original annotations on photographs, including name "Job Stephen[sic]" [Stevens]
