- History / Biographical
- The Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies is a trail riding organization based in Calgary, Alberta. The organization was established in 1923 with the support of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The first ride was held in 1924, and annual summer trail rides and pow-wows attracted fifteen hundred members by 1929. Many notable residents of the Bow Valley, including members of the Brewster and Moore families, Catherine Robb and Peter Whyte, and Carl Rungius have participated in trail rides. Support from the Canadian Pacific Railway ended in 1961. As of 2020, the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies remains an active organization. - History / Biographical
- Jimmy Simpson Sr. was a backpacker and outfitter in the Banff / Rocky Mountains region. He built the Num-Ti-Jah Lodge near Bow Lake which him and his wife Williamina ran from 1920 - 1945, and led many hunting and climbing expeditions in the area. Jimmy and Williamina had three children: Jimmy Simpson Jr. (who took over the Lodge in 1945), and daughters Margaret and Mary Simpson who became famous as professional ice skaters, the 'Simpson Sisters' in the late 1930's.

However, these specific copies have been categorized as 'personal' rather than professional as they were kept by Nicholas Morant for personal use. All prints in this file were originally in frames, and were removed for storage and conservation reasons. Frames for items PA - 20, PA - 22 and PA - 23 were each labelled with the number '4827' on the back. - Harry Pollard (1880 - 1968) was a famous photographer in Western Canada, who was notable for his photography of Canadian Indigenous peoples and cultures. From the Provincial Archives of Alberta: "In 1924 the Associated Screen News, a subsidiary of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), hired [Harry] Pollard to photograph their global ocean cruises for promotional purposes. It was this job that took him around the world 14 times".

- Charles B. Hill-Tout (1858-1944) was an amateur anthropologist with a particular interest in Canadian Indigenous cultures. Hill-Tout was the author of multiple anthropological books, and was also the president of the anthropological section of the Royal Society of Canada and a fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain later in his career. Betty and Benny Fox, acrobatic performers known as "The Sky Dancers", were known for performing balancing and acrobatic stunts atop a 20-inch wide round platform attached to building rooftops. Betty and Benny Fox became popular performers around the late 1930's and performed in multiple National Fairs and other public venues throughout the 1940's. Although Benny continued to perform until the 1960's, multiple female acrobatic performers replaced the original Betty Fox as "Betty" in acts following the World War II era.

- Marjorie Youhill, born c.1910s, was born, raised, and worked in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She was a Christian Scientist, had one stepsister, and never married. Marjorie retired in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, where she died at the Glengarry Hospital. She left her financial estate to Loreen Dunklee, her cousin.
