The sky and the mountain blend together, with the sky primarily grey and the mountain a mixture of shades of purple. The foreground is green, and reaches almost the top on the right and is lower on the left. The paint is applied thickly, particularly along the bottom of the work, where there are two prominent sections of paint that are raised from the piece. The artist’s signature is in the brhc in orange paint. Au verso, written in black ink in the tlhc, “49/U”.
