A small, heavy, sterling silver maple leaf, machine made. Somewhat stylized leaf is stemless with three lobes and sharp, pointed margin. Inside of leaf surface is slightly textured and blackened with niello, while narrow border tracing outline of leaf is smoothly polished silver. Vertical hinged pin at back fastens at bottom with locking clasp. Stamped into back on each side of upright lobe: “sterling” and hallmark.

A small round, gold pin with black line decoration. Round disk has on back small lip pierced with a line of round holes. Surface is hand engraved with scroll design accented by tracings of black enamel line forming predominant pattern. Black diamond at centre with loops at points, surrounded by circular shape, with black zigzag forming border around edge. Small, gold, pin spike attached to hinge resting on small platform at one side of back, fastening under hook clasp with locking lever on opposite side. Marks: on top of hook clasp: “14k”
