Each cable binding is in a oval-shaped loop features one end with coils of 1.5cm wide (for the heel ?) and the rest of the binding is made up of a smaller coil cable of 0.5 wide. Bindings a) and b) feature a metal lever locking mechanism on the larger coil end, curves around the coil. On the locking lever text is inscribed that reads “ GROSWOLD SKI CO. INC. “GOODMAN” U.S PAT. APPL. FOR”. Binding b) is slightly smaller in length, 33.5 cm. Bindings c) and d) feature a metal lever locking mechanism on the opposite end of the larger coil, with the smaller coil cable placed within a set of teeth on the metal lever lock. On the top of the lever text is inscribed that reads “Alpine” in cursive and underlined.
