- A tanned, buckskin jacket with floral beadwork design. It appears to be Stoney beadwork because of the colour combinations. The jacket has beading on the shoulders and the the top front and has fringes below. The beading above across the back is of flowers with colours red, orange, beige, blue, white and red and leaves in colours of green and turquoise. The beaded butterflies on the front are (two on each side) red and blue wings surrounded by pink, and blue and orange wings surrounded by beige; all the antennae are blue. The collar is pinked and also has a strip of 1.0 pinked buckskin sewn onto it 1.50 cm from the edge. The jacket is closed by leather thongs for tying. There are two front pockets, with pinked edges. The pockets are beaded in red, yellow, blue, green and white in what seems to be a flower. There is a lining, extending 25.5 cm down from the collar, in red and white checked cotton with two horizontal lines of red hearts and flowers with green leaves. On viewer’s left there are two border strips of white and blue flowers on red with green leaves. The back of the collar is lined with maroon velvet.REF: 103.08.1148 In the pocket of the jacket at the time of cataloguing: a square (26.0cm) white linen handkerchief with a lace border. It has green embroidered shamrocks and stems plus seven (approx.0.50 cm) dots around the shamrocks.REF: 105.02.1182 In the pocket of the jacket at the time of cataloguing: a piece of paper (11.0x12.5cm wide) with Willie’s notes on it. One side is written in script with a black felt pen “2 Rolled oats 1 milk 3 cream 1 Butter Veg fruit oranges Veg Meat”, viewer’s left, printed “NEWSPAPER GRACE” a line underneath and then “CARD FOR ERLING”. On the opposite side written in script in blue ball point pen “Bread at Pop’s, Grace and Gladys slene (sic) cody”. There are scribbles over the writing.

To the belt have been added rectangles of catlinite, each of which has been thonged to the belt proper, and each of which bears a different image, geometric motif canoe turtle geometric bird buffalo skull heart with arrow tepee and geometric design. Alternating with catlinite are commercial brass buttons in five different designs, two of which have eagle's heads on them, one of which shows a hound chasing a rabbit into a stump, and the other six bearing an impressed geometric pattern.
