The purse has two parallel flaps which flop over the top and tie, and a very long pair of shoulder straps. Part of the sewing is cotton, part of it is sinew. The bag contains a piece of sinew.

Tag printed with “ALBERTA STONEY INDIAN HAND CRAFTS MORLEY - ALBERTA” with a teepee and symbols. The reverse of the tag has CRW's writing: "Purse for belt belonged to Edwin Dixons mother - Belt he wore & is worn out Mina Lefthand - blind since he was 7."
