Short fringe at bottom from linen threads with coloured threads introduced. Drawn and tied threads along top form slits through which a heavy, beige, silk cord drawstring is threaded. Two loop handles of same cord attached on inside. Lined with wine coloured silk. Flower basket and lion very delicately worked in cross stitch using linen as a canvas. Colours in bottom fringe pick up colours in embroidery and are different on each side of bag.

There is a peak in TLC and the mountain slopes downward to another smaller peak in the TRC. The foreground of the piece is comprised of many loose rocks that are piled on top of one another and recede into the background. The line quality of the drawing in the foreground is much heavier and more detailed than the background. Shading in the piece is done mostly with cross-hatching.
