Description: Siberian box, hand-carved for Ulysse LaCasse,lid carved in relief of flower branches, "Vladivostok/Siberia 1918-1919./U. LaCasse" against textured background, rectangular box with flat ends and rounded sides like a flattened cylinder, carved of solid piece of wood, lid hinged with small metal pins each side, interior of lid carved with curling hunting horn and "260" carved below it.

Description: Tall round cardboard box with box-type lid; delicately painted with watercolours over textured paper covering box and lid; four panels around sides contain painted flower sprays separated from alternating, wider panels painted with polka dots of lights blue; lid contains similar sprays of flowers around side separated by light blue festoons of ribbons, and light blue polka dots on top, edges and lines separating panels painted with gold.

Description: A lathe-turned round-dish, flat-bottomed box with a domed, lapping lid which fits flushly over a flange on the box body. Box and lid are painted a boxcar red and decorated with designs of circles and flowers, varnish over paint has oxidized. Interior of box has been painted a dark green.

Dimensions: 6.2 x 7.5 cm

Description: A flat-based, straight-sided birchbark box with smooth, flush, overfitting lid. Walls decorated with pink and white porcupine quills, and walls of lid similarly decorated. The top of the lid is decorated with an overlapped pattern of brown and white quills in a floral motif, with "stamens" of green quills bursting from the centre. About 5% of the quills are loose at one end, some quills lost. Thread which binds grass to rim of lid has frayed severely. Box contains six quartz crystals.
