Description
This mountain scene with lots of paint texture stretches across a large canvas with the predominant, stylistically blocky mountains taking up the upper 2/3 of the work. The two mountains on the bottom right and left sides of this mountain range are a dark blue grey, and as the mountains receed they become lighter and lighter almost melding with the sky. The bottom third of the work is comprised of a lake, and surrounding land. The lake is cropped by the edge on the right side. Surrounding the lake on the top, left side, and bottom is green land and rocks. This land on the left side juts into the lake in a peninsula type formation. A row of evergreens divide this forground portion from the mountains, and stretch from the left side, to 4/5 the way to the right.
