(b)dark blue square, printed with a large open square of clusters of white daisies forming a garland with bright pink and bright blue flowers. Small bouquets of these same flowers are evenly spaced around the inside perimeter of the square. Two sides of the scarf finished with a small machine stitched hem, the other two formed by the selvage edge of the fabric.

Short thread fringe on all four sides. (b) white silky rayon, clusters of brightly coloured international flags around each corner, with a light blue seal of the Soroptimist International Association at the centre, and a banner beneath, "1921 Jubilee 1971". White rolled hem outside narrow blue border line. Printed in one corner. (c) on the blue border, "Mildred Sprout".
