Description
A rectangular basket formed from a strip of bark which has been scored and turned up at the sides which are gathered together at the top and fastened to a carved, straight stick which acts as a handle. Handle has carved knobs at the end and is tied to the sides of the basket with raffia so that the knobs protrude beyond a bit. A strip of bark has been wrapped around the handle at either side. Basket is varnished.
