Description: A sketch of a saddled and bridled horse. The horse is facing to right of picture, his tail is tied up, he is standing in snow. A faint drawing of a log house is in centre background, a buffalo skull is over the door. A circle resembling a compass is in bottom right of picture. The reverse of this drawing has a pen and ink sketch of an airplane, of WW I vintage, the pilot can be seen in the cockpit.

Description: Colour: white. This is a bas-relief of a pack horse facing right standing in grass.Modelled ca. 1931 for Tex Woods, a packer and guide in Banff, for gable on house on Spray Avenue. Taken off house in 1977 by Ray Haimila. He had permission to cast 14 bronzes plus 1 Aluminum on the condition that he present the master cast to the Peter and Catharine Whyte Foundation. He presented 1 bronze to the Senior Citizen’s Home in Canmore; sold the others.

Description: The base of this trophy is made from wood. The shape of the base is rectangular with one large wood plaque on the front that reads “Catharine Whyte Memorial Trophy, 1906 - 1979” directly under this are five smaller shield shaped plaques. Standing on top of the base and made out of bronze is a male skier. This male skier is leaning against his skies with one arm wrapped around them . In the other hand, that is placed close to his hip, he holds both ski poles. This man is wearing short pants, a jacket and a peaked cap.
