- A bright orange canvas belt that fastens with a natural coloured leather buckle and strap. The buckle is also leather covered. The belt has been used to hold a pin and medal collection, many of which are still attached. Original with the belt and on leather at either end are 'Overseas Mounted Rifles' pin (at buckle) and a crossed sword pin (at strap). - Black elastic rayon belt with 5 diamond shaped groups of metal studs, fancy metal filigree buckle resembles butterfly when hooked. One side of buckle has some decoration missing, other side missing original hook. Large hook sewn on to end of material rather than on buckle. Metal studs are probably "marcasite" def. a pale, bronze-yellow, orthorhombic iron disulfide also called white iron pyrites. Also an ornament made of crystallized marcasite or of polished steel.
