Each arrow has a wooden shaft, feathers and down fletching attached to the shaft with waxed thread (sinew?), and a carved nock.a-c) Three similar arrows (72.0 x 0.8 cm) with red and green coloured bands around the shaft at the fletching. d-f) Three similar arrows (74.0 x 0.9 cm) with no markings.g) Long arrow with thick shaft (77.5 x 1.2 cm) and a serrated bone arrowhead attached with waxed thread. The shaft is marked with red at the fletching and the arrowhead.h) Arrow (69.0 x 0.7 cm) with the fletching feathers cut square. There are red bands around the shaft and at the fletching. Description
Carved and painted decorative wall hanging of a Scandinavian-styled house. There are two small figures - one male and one female (who is holding an umbrella) - mounted on a horizontal piece of wood that can swing in and out of openings in the front of the building. To the right of the figures is a yellow-painted wall with a window in it and a short fence in front of it. The upper floor of the house has a balcony across it with three flowerpots and a pink and white polka-dotted cloth on the banister. Behind the banister is a blue door with red shutters. The roof is painted red and has a short chimney on the left-hand side and the back panel the house is mounted to is painted blue with a yellow trim and flowers throughout. On the back is a black and gold sticker reading “Sydney Reynolds LTD. VICTORIA B.C. DIRECT IMPORTERS” as well as “HAND CARVED” written in black ink, possibly by Morant.
