Description
Small, rounded, flat buckskin bag with short lighter fringe around sides and bottom. Lightly beaded on front with single flower at centre with many petals outlined in blue black, and petals filled in with blue black and white seed beads. Four white stems and outlined black leaves curve from the blossom towards the corners of the purse. An alternately beaded white and black stem rises from the top of the blossom with a white and black trifoliate mass at the top, and two alternately beaded white and black bird's legs support the blossom at the bottom. The mouth of the purse is trimmed with white and black beads, as well as a small pointed tab with a buttonhole slit which is sewn to the middle of the back opening. The back of the purse is two pieces of buckskin patched together.
