Scope & Content: File consists of 42 photographs mostly pertaining to annual Installation events for the Order of the Eastern Star between 1950 and 1960; Maud Kidney was chosen as head Matron of the group in 1950. File also includes photographs of Banff school children [ca. 1895] including members of the Wilson and Brewster families; a ski gondola rider; and Jack and Ted MacAulay as toddlers.

Notes: File contains duplicates; Early Banff school photograph accompanied by typed document with contextual details and names of individuals in image; Photographs in this file were accompanied by notes made shortly before or after accession in 1979 giving names/contextual information about photographs. Some notes are by Jim Deegan, 1987. Information has been transferred to the back of each photograph.

Scope & Content: File consists of one scrapbook containing personal photographs, small clippings, wax seals, and blank and annotated postcards. Content pertains to Eleanor Luxton, relatives and friends of the Luxton family. Includes individual and group photographs of numerous unidentified individuals on horseback and on foot, posing by family homes and ranches [likely in and around the Bow Valley]; and unidentified members of an Indigenous community [likely Stoney community members in Morley]. Scrapbook also contains various small clippings and symbols / pictures pertaining to academies, clubs and political groups based in Canada, England and the United States; invitations sent to Mr. and Mrs. McDougall to attend an Old Timers' Association event in 1908, and one in 1910 in Calgary ; four blank postcards depicting attractions in London, England; four annotated Christmas cards mailed to the Luxton family; one annotated postcard sent to Mrs. George H. History / Biographical: Harold Malloch Luxton [1884-1915] was the youngest child of parents Sarah Jane Luxton and William Fisher Luxton. Harold served as a member of the Canadian Infantry (Alberta Regiment, 31st Battalion) during World War I, and was killed in action on December 18, 1915 at the age of 31. Harold is buried at the Kemmel Chateau Military Cemetery in Belgium.

Scope & Content: File consists of 23 photographs pertaining to various friends and extended members of the Luxton/McDougall family. File includes images of Fred and Jean Graham's house in Calgary, Mr. [Ed?] and Mrs. Youmans, Flora McDougall, David McDougall and family, Ada Luxton, school friends of Jean (McDougall) Graham, and Harold [Malloch] Luxton in his Canadian Infantry uniform, 1914.
