Dimensions: 31.0 x 24.5 cm

Description: A gray watercoloured stone path leads back to a Japanese temple with two levels of curving roof. The path winds through a garden of stone sculptures that stand on pedestals before reaching the temple. The temple is coloured with red on the outside walls and windows are yellow and the sloping roofs are green. A stone wall is to the right of the temple and behind it is a tree trunk painted in brown with two branches in yellow and green. Framing the image to the right is the beginning of a curved gable that enters into the frame but is discontinued.

Description: A group of three adults stand center. Flanking the man in red in the center is a woman in beige to the left with a child on her back in a red pouch, and to the right another woman in light orange with a child on her back in a green pouch. Behind them is a step up on to an area where a figure in blue sits playing a flute. Behind him in the background is another figure bending over a desk, pen in hand. Setting is washed in brown and green.

Description: The bronze modelled by Peter Whyte and cast by Charlie Beil. The bronze ski jumper is in an outstretched position, the skis resting on a sphere 20.0 diameter which stands on a flat circular base, this is all on top of a black wooden base; inscribed into the bronze base is North American Ski Championships. Brass plates nailed on to wooden base indicating Peter Whyte Memorial Trophy and winners.

The whole sculpture, excluding the poles, is painted silver.
