A watercolour of mainly greys and blues depicting the coastal bay of Sointula, BC. In the bottom left corner there is a rocky area of pale blue and grey. A log juts out from the lower left edge of the painting in toward the centre of the image. In the lower right side of the image the rocky area gives way to water. A small village sits on the edge of the water. The buildings are multi-coloured. Behind the village is a pine tree-covered hill and behind it is a dark mountain.
