- Colour: black on white, the head of a woman, facing slightly to viewer’s right. The left side of the face is visible the right side is in total darkness. Her neck hides in the shadows also though her shoulders are white. Only the outline indicates their shape.Au verso: HALF FACE IN THE DARK
