Description
A very brightly coloured pastel drawing. The portrait of the man dominates almost the entire picture. A dark blue background behind his head, the face is drawin in good detail, black braids to the front. A red undershirt, yellow vest with white/red/purple diamond designs over shoulders. A necklace of black-tipped weasel tails and long, black horse tails. He is wearing a brown (buckskin ?) shirt. On the back of the heavy card backing: Shorty White-Grass A-PO-TO-YE-SEE Blackfeet Tribe of Browning Mont. in blue; in black: #54.

Description
There are four separate images being depicted on the paper. The first in the top portion of the paper is a group of twelve tipis at the base of a foothill. The hills roll up behind them, with the Rocky Mountains in the background. There are some people by the tipis, but a group of three people in the foreground entering the area. In the second drawing on the bottom half of the paper near the left edge is a drawing of a tipi with trees in front of it and a group a person standing in front of the opening to the tipi. In the background there are mountains. In the third drawing to the right of the second is a group of people travelling in a horse caravan. Above them there is a rough sketch of what could be another tipi. In the fourth drawing in the bottom half of the paper near the right edge there is a man driving a wagon. You can see that he is holding the reins, but the team that is leading cannot be seen. verso: in the TLC it says “K22-2” and in the TRC “Flecn 339”
