- The base of this trophy is made from wood. The shape of the base is rectangular with one large wood plaque on the front that reads “Catharine Whyte Memorial Trophy, 1906 - 1979” directly under this are five smaller shield shaped plaques. Standing on top of the base and made out of bronze is a male skier. This male skier is leaning against his skies with one arm wrapped around them . In the other hand, that is placed close to his hip, he holds both ski poles. This man is wearing short pants, a jacket and a peaked cap.

- A blue /black horse makes it’s way down a green coloured rocky base. The horse’s back legs are bent.This is the only existing cast; there is no mould for it anymore, according to Mrs. Olive Beil. Charlie made it for the Whyte's.
