A fairly large toggle of hard, tan rubber, hanging from a leather loop, with white cord threaded through. Toggle is flat on front and back, with reverse curve shaped sides. A pair of well-used, green, lace-up gaiters made out of lightweight, waterproof, canvas material. An ankle-to-knee gaiter, one piece of material sewn together, six brass-coloured grommets on one side, six silver-coloured metal hooks with individual leather backing, on the other side, with another two grommets at the top, and a braided heavy-duty nylon lace for tightening and securing the gaiter to the calf. One gaiter has blue, waterproof patches sewn around both top grommets with green thread, also has one blue patch sewn with green thread on the outside and one on the inside; the manufacturer’s “Recreational Equipment INC. 1525 11th Avenue Seattle, Wash. 98122” label is secured on one side only. A commemorative silver band that can be nailed onto a walking stick. The rectangular silver is shaped into a circular form, each end has two holes (.03cm from each edge, 1.50cm apart) to put nails through and attach it to a walking stick. There is a piece of wire threaded through the holes to keep piece of metal in a circular shape. The middle of the band has the Skyline Trail Hikers of the Canadian Rockies logo; a shield- shaped crest with the letters “SLTH” on top, a hiking boot crossed by a walking stick or alpenstock, and underneath it a “C”, the bottom of the walking stick passing between, and then the “R”.
