There are two leather strap handles, one per side. The trunk fastens shut with two snap latches and a central circular latch. The inside of the trunk is lined with fabric. Inside lid there is a built-in compartment on the left side. The compartment has a small red pocket on the cover. The side of the case in marked with the initials “H.F.M.”.
