(a )elliptical silver, 7.1 x 4.3 x 2.0, surface engraved with scrolled leaf pattern in low relief. Bar across short axis of ellipse set into soldered ends on back so that it swivels. Hooked over, and soldered to swivelling bar are two very sharp, pointed prongs. (b) oval silver wreath , 6.8 x 5.5 x .8, cast, open work wreath made up of figures of griffins, vines and leaves. Across long axis is fixed swivelling bar to which are soldered two short, sharp curving, prongs. Attached on back is large U-shaped loop of silver, to hold belt. (c) large round silver, 4.7 diam x .8 high, large ring of silver with two heavy trefoils at each end of ring butting against one another, A third trefoil with long, sharp spike attached by being formed into ring around bar. Separated by two tiny gold disks enamelled with red circle containing gold cloisonne wire design, each very simple and different from one another. Each circle and each bar have two small eyes on either side which are joined to one another by small rings, giving the effect of a filigree square between each bar and circle, repeated around the bracelet. Ring bolt clasp, hand-made, 14 karat gold.

Clasp is wide, flat bar the length of pin with three small teeth at end to grip fabric. Marks: stamped in clasp, “ pat. apld. for” (b) rhinestone - large, slightly curved, vertical band, pointed at bottom. Set with square cut green glass gemstones in shape of "T". Four, wide, emerald cut white rhinestones at each side beneath crosspiece of "T" extending halfway down shaft. Rest of area beside shaft and around bottom in pointed shape is encrusted with brilliant cut white rhinestones. Large clasp at back hinged behind crossbar of "T". - A collection of five rings set with turquoise stones. (a) heavy square stone, 2.3x.9x1.9, rough, heavy, silver ring with large square, slightly domed, turquoise stone set at front. Light blue stone spotted with green at one corner, ring slightly askew. A single design deeply stamped on band each side of front, handmade. (b) turquoise band 2.1x3x2.0, simple, narrow silver band with raised strip in front containing three narrow, rectangular stones of turquoise. Stones set in flush with silver, and separated by lines of silver between. (c) six separate round stones, 2.2x4x2.0, narrow silver band with six, small, round stones of turquoise set side by side along the front. Three chevrons incised either side of front on band. (d) five separate square stones, 2.2x6x2.0, as (c), but square stones. Small silver disk at each side of front on band. (e) copper band, 2.2x8x2.0, narrow copper band with five, small, separate, uniformly coloured, turquoise stones set side by side along front. Small copper knob juts out from band on each side of each stone. Tag attached in Catharine’s handwriting: “Christine Ear pawned for $20.00/ Nov. 10th ‘78”
