(b) is a basketry straw hat woven in a twill fashion with sombrero edge, a blue satin ribbon as band decorated with two blue glass buttons at the front and flowers made of cloth in white and pink at the back. Ribbon ends hanging down as tails behind, and hat is lined with cream satin. Commercially manufactured.

- An Indigenous doll of buckskin wearing long buckskin dress. Stuffed face has been given shape by stitching, with brown and white carefully worked eyelashed eyes, eyebrows and red lips of beads. Long black yarn hair has been wrapped into braids at each side with leather thongs, and has two small feathers stuck through at back. Dress is of commercially tanned buckskin simply fringed at ends of sleeves and hem, with doubled thongs held together by a single bead spaced evenly around middle of skirt and along yoke in back. Flat leather fringed purse with pointed flap closing with cowrie shell, hangs from belt tied around waist. Moccasins on feet have high ankle flaps tied up with leather thongs. Underbody of stuffed white material, single strand necklace of large red, orange and green beads.

- Indigenous doll of buckskin with comparatively small head, wearing shirt and leggings. Simple facial features of black beads, and black yarn hair braided at either side of face. Rather stiff buckskin shirt has fringe at shoulders and across back yoke which is trimmed with red beads, wide belt at waist is beaded in feather stitch of white with blue at tips, and beading motif is repeated in two bands up the front of the shirt to the shoulders. Leggings of lighter colour buckskin are softer and have notched flaps at the side with turquoise and black beads at the sides of the legs. Moccasins have turquoise and black beaded crow's foot motif with green sequins. Hands are simply cut out in mitten shape, buckskin underpants, stuffed underbody of white fabric.

- Bisque head and neck with beautifully painted eyebrows and eyelashes. There are also hair top lashes of which about half is lost. Brown glass eyes. Open pink mouth, appears there were teeth. Blonde hair has been cut. Composition body has ball joints at elbows and knees, string and wire hold the doll together. Fingers are individually made but the toes are only indicated. On back of head: "Made in Germany Armand Marseille 390 n. A 8 M" . Ensemble includes: bloomers, garters, 2 half slips, undershirt, dress, cape, knitted cap. An oblong piece of white fabric with blue stitching, unknown function.

- A collection of four Kewpie dolls, one of china and three celluloid, dressed in full skirted dresses and bonnets with ruffled brims. All dolls traditional Kewpie figures of chubby cherubs with smiling faces and painted eyes looking to one side, and small light coloured top knot of a pointed curl at top of head. Moveable arms connected by cord through body of doll, small blue wings on either side of neck. (a) china doll with painted features and tiny blue wing like protrusions at each side of neck, wearing full dress of two layers of purple pink tulle ruffles, and matching white silk bonnet lined with purple pink under brim and a wreath of flowers around crown. Marks: carved on bottom of feet, "O'Neill". (b) celluloid doll with painted features, wearing full yellow dress of satin with satin roses at each shoulder, and matching white silk bonnet lined with yellow under brim, with a wreath of yellow flowers and yellow bow at crown. Marks: patent number stamped on soles of feet. (c) celluloid doll as (b) wearing full dress of pink net over underskirt of white with pink ribbon trim at hem, and pink silk bonnet with net crown surrounded by a wreath of pink flowers. Marks: on soles of feet, patent number, heart shaped paper sticker on stomach, "Kewpie Red. U.S. Pat Off." (d) celluloid doll as (b) wearing pleated pastel green skirt embroidered with delicate flower springs and finished at the hem with embroidered scallop shapes. Pleated red velvet cape with three tiers of ruffles, lined with white satin, and having gold cord tie at neck, matching red velvet pleated bonnet. Marks: on soles of feet, patent number.
