Six vine-like scrolls are spaced evenly around the inside and outside of the cup, and also on the rim of the saucer. The middle of the cup depression and the bottom of the cup are both decorated with a circle drawn around a scrollwork medallion. The cup has a narrow base flaring out to the mouth, and a slightly scrolled loop handle attached at one side. Both pieces are marked “Royal Grafton, Fine Bone China”, and “Made in England”. The cup is also marked with the number “#1564”.
