Across the bottom of the viewer-right face of the box, the tan-coloured tape contains the text “PHOTO SCALES” in black marker.The box opens up (by lifting the top face up and back, which allows the front face of the box to open horizontally towards the viewer) to reveal the balance scale inside. These two openable faces are lined with a light-coloured paper on the inside of the box.
