The information appears backwards and reads: “ROOM WITHOUT BATH.” The same information can be seen on the edge of the wood block attached by a plastic holder that would have made identification much easier. There is a metal hook that would have allowed the stamp to be be tied (using string) to a belt or pant loop when in the field.
