The front of the box includes the power switch, a signal lamp, a plug for a tape recorder [according to the instruction manual, the Showslide box can also be used to play taped slideshows that have pre-recorded custom transitions], and the plug for the hand control remote - the remote has a small metal switch that goes between “PLAY” and “RECORD,” a black plastic knob that slides up and down the length of the remote [possibly the trigger to switch between the two projectors], and a yellow plastic button with an embedded red light that is labeled “FLIP.” Also accompanying the box are two instruction manuals, the larger of which has several hand-written notes on the front and back.
