Description
Wooden handled shovel with open hand grip, shallow metal blade rounded at bottom, straight shoulders and long socket for handle which is bolted through near top of socket. Short wood handle with D-shaped open hand grip at end, grip reinforced with metal rod through actual rounded grip, and another through just below opening. NB: wooden handle silvered and deeply weathered in grain of wood with large check splitting handgrip in half. 3.0 x 3.0 chunk of wood missing from back of grip. All metal heavily rusted, blade deeply pitted and corroded with 2.0 and .5 holes nearcentre.

The ends are bent at an angle in roughly 45 degree angle and sharpened to a point.

Description
Very complex looking tool with wooden saw like handle and a multitude of various adjustment screws, removable arms and moveable pieces. Main body of the plane extends from wooden handle and holds a flange of steel plate shaped like a sleigh runner which is the sole, with a slot to the left to accept changeable blades, and two holes through holding rods perpendicular to the body. The rods support a second adjustable sole, a depth gauge plate, and a moveable wooden fence, can be used either side of plane. A wooden handle to the side, attached to the fence arms is used to help support the plane when working. All are attached to the body of the plane by various rods and clamps, and are adjustable to the body by various rods and clamps, and are adjustable by thumbscrews, fingerscrews and rods which allow movement in virtually any direction. Blade in plane is straight edged 2.1 cm. wide.
