History / Biographical
Mary Wright (Molly) Adams was born on 15 October 1868. in Ridgefield Connecticut. She was the third of five children born to Cornelia Ann Cook (1830-1902) amd Daniel Lucius Adams (1814 - 1899) She died in Kobe, Japan on 23 January 1909 and was buried there.

Correspondence and 7 sub-series: A: shoebox, C: ziploc, D: purple folder, E: Mrs. Elkin envelope, F: Letters and Diaries, G: yellow folder, H: brown tied folder. Subseries A: shoebox contains correspondence from 2014 between Colleen Skidmore and Marjorie P. Adams regarding the records. Original and transcribed correspondence from Molly W. Adams to various recipients from [ca. 1891 to 1909]. Subseries C: ziploc contains original correspondence and 6 postcards from Molly W. Adams in 1903. Subseries D: purple folder contains original and transcribed correspondence from Molly W. Adams from 1906 to 1908. Also contains 4 postcards and photocopy of an article about Mary Schaffer from The Cairn, 1980-1981. Subseries E: Mrs. Elkin Envelope contains original and transcribed correspondence from Cornelia Cook Adams and Catharine Cook [ca. 1850 to 1865].
