Eisenhower [Castle Mountain] with trees and the Bow River in the foreground in the depressed center of the plate - pink, purple, yellow, and green flower clusters decorate the rest of the plate and the edge of the plate is lined with gold.Castle Mountain [Miistukskoowa] was renamed Mt. Eisenhower in 1946 by Prime Minister Mackenzie King in honour of General Dwight D. Eisenhower’s involvement in World War II. Some local residents resented the name change and in 1979 it was reverted back to Castle Mountain, with the southeast end kept “Eisenhower Tower.”

- Description
- Portable RCA [Radio Corporation of America] Model 400 16mm Sound Film Projector. It is surrounded in a case, with a perforated metal square on one side of the case and blue plastic and metal handle at the top, alongside a metal plate with text that reads “16mm SOUND FILM PROJECTOR” “MODEL 400” and some more text about the projector itself. On both short sides are metal clasps that hold the case cover in place and on the bottom are four rubber feet to keep the projector off the table. The main bulk of the projector consists of blue metal divided into various parts where the motor is and the exposed mounting mechanism where the reels sit. Throughout the face are various black plastic and metal switches and knobs to control the projector. The power cord is stored underneath the main bulk in a store of shelf. Inside the removable cover is a ho-to diagram of how to thread and rewind the film reels. Underneath is a how-to to store a reel and the arms inside the case. The arms are secured in two metal brackets and leather straps. This side of the case is also where the speaker is housed - in the bottom left corner. There is also a small bottle of oil for the projector set in the case. The reel that is stored in this section is smaller and has the speaker/microphone cord wrapped around it.

- Dull grey metal flood/spotlight used in studio settings for film-making or photography. The main body of the light is shaped like a small barrel - one end has a carved crystal bordered in thick cord and the other has a door that opens by pushing a small button in order to access the light bulb inside. The centre of the door features the Bardwell & McAlister Inc. logo. The barrel also has housing attached to the top and bottom - one contains a lever that, when pushed from side to side, moves the light bulb inside closer to or further from the crystal. Attached to the front on either side of the crystal are brackets where a filter can be fit; a Y-shaped support can be rotated 180 degrees and is adjusted by a handle on one side; an on/off switch sits in a raised metal bracket on one side, and near the switch the power cord feeds out of the barrel - the cord is wrapped in grey fabric and is coiled up and attached to the support with a short length of rope. Attached to the power cord is an orange fabric bag with a wire drawstring that contains a silver metal cylinder that could possibly be an attachment for the support.
