Rectangular wall mirror with ornate gold painted frame, crowned by a plaster eagle painted gold (eagle is 12 cm. high with a 13.5 cm. wing span) Wood frame is decorated with two fluted columns on each side, columns are formed from plaster and painted gold. Each column is flanked on each end by what appears to be an interpretation of the Corinthian capital. A rosette in square motif on each corner. The back is covered in brown paper. Dealer's label on back reads "FOSTER BROTHERS 4 Park Square, Boston / Pictures and Frames / order no. 2053. Two heavy metal hooks hold copper hanging wire.
