History / Biographical: Jimmy Simpson Sr. was a backpacker and outfitter in the Banff / Rocky Mountains region. He built the Num-Ti-Jah Lodge near Bow Lake which him and his wife Williamina ran from 1920 - 1945, and led many hunting and climbing expeditions in the area. Jimmy and Williamina had three children: Jimmy Simpson Jr. (who took over the Lodge in 1945), and daughters Margaret and Mary Simpson who became famous as professional ice skaters, the 'Simpson Sisters' in the late 1930's.

Scope & Content: File consists of 41 photographic prints (32 b&w and 9 colour). History / Biographical: Jean Beliveau (1931 - 2014) was born in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, later moving to Victoriaville where he first began to play hockey. Beliveau joined the Quebec Citadelles team and later the Quebec Aces before joining the NHL as a member of the Montreal Canadiens in 1953. Beliveau married his lifelong partner, Elise Couture, the same year (1953) and the two had a daughter together, Helene Beliveau. Jean Beliveau had an 18-year career as a player for the Montreal Canadians before retiring as a player and becoming an executive in 1971. During his career, Beliveau played 1,225 games, scoring 507 goals and 712 assists and was voted as the Montreal Canadian's Most Valuable Player twice. Beliveau's team won the Stanley Cup playoffs 10 times during his playing career. Beliveau was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972. Beliveau worked as Senior Vice-President of Corporate Affairs for the Montreal Canadiens until 1993. I 1994, he was offered the position of Governor General of Canada, but turned down the position due to family commitments. In 1998, Beliveau received the title of Companion of the Order of Canada.

Key stars in the film include Paul Newman (Buffalo Bill), Frank Kaquitts (Sitting Bull), Joel Grey (The Producer), and Kevin McCarthy (The Publicist). Other actors include Harvey Keitel, Allan F.
