History / Biographical: The Wheeler House was the personal residence of Arthur O. Wheeler, co-founder and first president of the Alpine Club of Canada. The house stood adjacent to the first ACC clubhouse on Sulphur Mountain, located approximately halfway between the Bow River and the Upper Hot Springs. Wheeler constructed the house in 1920, it recieved official heritage recognition in 1994, and was demolished in 2011.

Scope & Content: File consists of 1 print of a sketch of a buffalo that was used for copper and bronze badge. These buffalo badges were used to mark paid entrance to the National Parks from 1925-1938 and were fixed to a car's front radiator with wire. This sketch shows a standing buffalo, a design used from 1932-1938. Also includes the envelope the print was stored in. Written on the front are details of what the sketch is of and that it was give to Jim Sime from Fergus Lothian in 1977.

History / Biographical: "To Elvis With Love" also known as "Touched by Love," 1980, directed by Gus Trikonis and starring Deborah Raffin, Diane Lane, Michael Learned, Clu Gulager, and John Amos. Based on a real-life therapist who cared for a wheelchair-bound girl suffering with cerebral-palsy. The young, unresponsive patient is rehabilitated through correspondence with her favourite performer Elvis Presley. Location filming in Banff townsite and vicinity—Banff Springs Golf Course Clubhouse, Banff High School, and Lake Minnewanka road. A number of Banff teenagers were used in the movie as well as a group of special-needs students from Calgary.
