- a) Driver: Carved in ivory. 5.2 cm high. Broken right foot and left hand, no repairs. Face is incised and stained.b) Sled: 11.4 x 4.5 cm. Sled composed of ivory and string? The runners are drilled through to take threads which are tied around cross boards. Dogs: Average length is 4.5 cm, four in ivory (c, d, f, g), one in steatite (e). Reins appear to be cotton string, harnesses may be hide. Faces detailed with incised mouths and nostrils, tail positions differ in each, eyes and ears are in various expressions. Some have defined toes, all are intact, no repairs. Stone dog is less detailed- perhaps a replacement of a lost ivory dog?
