The cover has a white striking surface and the inner match storage area is black. The top of the box cover has a scene of a family eating a meal together; three children, two parents and a dog. On the viewer’s left, there is red wording against a black banner background, “Real” in writing, followed by “HOME” and underneath, “COOKING” in printing. On viewer’s right, the words “FAMILY” and underneath “DINNERS” are printed in black. There are 43 wooden matches with black and white tips in the box.
