- Two pairs of black leather boys' hockey skates. (a,b) Black leather ankle high boot, fixed insole covered with flannel, same material lines the tongue. 11 eyelets each side of opening, flannel lined semi attched heel/ankle protector has strap which fastens through hole in leather under eyelets to buckle on outside of boot. No lining in boot. Skate blade is one continuous blade and in good condition, sole of boot is well worn. Long black laces. (c,d) Black leather ankle high leather lined boot. Thin felt insole. Tongue has heavy felt lining. 11 metal eyelets along opening. Leather sole is sewn to boot and another thin sole glued on. Outer sole is peeling along outside of boot. One continuous blade.

- Four pairs of mittens handknitted in the Norwegian style with winter motifs in contrasting colours. All come to a point at the tip of the thumb and fingers. (a) white background with black snowflake design, 27.0 x 26.0, narrow band of white ribbed knit edging plain stockinette knitted cuff. Dark diamond shaped snowflakes form design around cuff and front of mittens. Palm covered with overall pattern of small dark snowflakes. (b) white ribbed cuffs, 11.0 x 10.0, two large white eight sided snowflakes outlined in black on front, with overall pattern of diamond shaped checks on palm and thumb. (c) red, white and blue with reindeer, 26.0 x 11.5, plain stockinette knit cuff with narrow ribbed edging. Designs of blue reindeer and stylized figures on white background with red bands at the cuffs, and red accents. - Rankin cup trophy is double handled, lidded, and sits on a circular, lathed, black painted wooden base. Tall, deep cup on circular foot, with ornate, amphora like handles. Handles have grape plant motif on thumb rests. Relief downhill skier on cup. Under skier engraved, "Won by: 1934 Victor Kutschera, 1935 Victor Kutschera, 1936 Vigo Victor Kutschera". Opposite side of cup engraved "Ski Runners of the Canadian Rockies, Downhill Challenge Cup, Presented by Mr. Niall & Lady Jean Rankin, March 1932". Hallmarks near handle include "M&W" within crest, crown within pentagon, lion passant crest and "P" within crest. Lid slopes to narrow top knob in leaf design. Hallmarks on lid rim which sits inside cup are as follows: "M&W" within crest, lion passant in pentagon and "P" within crest. Wood and cup bases stamped "Mappin & Webb" Limited, Sheffield & London .
