Description
A rough sketch of the 1947 Christmas card. A figure stands in the opening of the Dutch door while the animals surround the cabin. Written on the top edge “SEASONS GREETINGS,” along the bottom edge “CATHARINE AND PETER,” “Peter Whyte BANFF.” Near the BRC “6 1/2” and close to the TRC “3 1/2,” besides both numbers it appears to say “inches.”verso: landscape with an artist sitting at the top of the hill painting, there is a plane and a mountain in the background. In the BLC there are ink scribbles and “Peter Whyte” as a practice signature and the initials “P.W.”
