Description
Black elastic rayon belt with 5 diamond shaped groups of metal studs, fancy metal filigree buckle resembles butterfly when hooked. One side of buckle has some decoration missing, other side missing original hook. Large hook sewn on to end of material rather than on buckle. Metal studs are probably "marcasite" def. a pale, bronze-yellow, orthorhombic iron disulfide also called white iron pyrites. Also an ornament made of crystallized marcasite or of polished steel.

Wide cotton wool collar 17.0, attached to lace yoke , very fine cotton band around edge of collar. Set in gathered full sleeves, gathered wide lace 12.0 at cuffs, lace has points all around. 9 hook and eye closure at front. Bottom edge is unfinished but cut into points to prevent fraying. Blouse appears to be one part of an ensemble.

Large black hooks provide the fastenings at front. 4 of the same hooks are sewn onto the back inside waist apparently to hold the jacket to a skirt. Jacket is self lined at front, cotton lining at back of garment and in sleeves. Inside cuffs of sleeves are lined in same navy satin as collar, cuffs could be turned back. Navy satin bow underneath collar at back so collar can be turned up to display bow. Back length 36.0, width 37.0. Stays at front waist to bust and from waist to underarm
