Description
A bridle of sturdy woven straps of blue wool ? with a series of small brass square "links" attached through the straps and decorating the noseband and runners, forming flexible bands of brass at these points. Round brass rings attached to runners by a square brass link hold a steel bit. Brass pieces worked with cloisonne enamel of flowers within small circles. Large brass buckles fasten throat latch and browband. Long, 104.0 cm. woven blue reins attached to brass rings at bit by brown leather straps. Ends straps and buckle holes reinforced with leather.

Bridle of sturdy blue woven straps crossed at middle in X-shape decorated with a large brass "X" at the cross and small brass square "links" along the straps forming a flexible surface. Brass is worked in cloisonne enamel with flower designs in small circles. Black wool noseband sewn around a leather strap tied through small brass rings at bottom arms of "X" has a series of red, blue and white wool flaps outlined with white bias tape along edges, and is lined with blue canvas.
