Description
A round, double-faced, sterling silver-framed hand mirror with a silver ring for a handle. There is a tube-like silver frame around the mirrors which reflect a normal image on one side and a magnified image on the reverse. The frame is seamed at each side and joined by small rivet-pins, 6.5 cm diameter, and a solid ring handle is firmly soldered to the bottom of the frame. The frame is monogrammed "MKM" (Maria K. Moore) at the top of one side. Cardboard fibre ring spacers were placed between the mirrors to hold them firmly in place against the frame. These spacers are broken.

Description
A metal nail file with a sterling silver handle. The simple, flat handle gradually widens to the end which is slightly pointed. The silver pattern is simply a textured line along each edge with a scrolled leaf at the top and bottom ends. A 10.0 cm long steel blade has a finely ridged file texture on each side, with one edge sharper than the other, and an untextured, smooth point at the tip. The end of the blade has shoulders and a round shank joined to the handle ferrule. Stamped on the handle ferule is "Sterling/5900".
