Two identical metal saucepans with handles. Depth of the pan is 3.1 cm. Handle is rivetted on to pan with 3 rivets. On the bottom: "No. 3612" Below this is an oval with a circle inside. In the circle is a cross. Sitting on the oval is a monkey with a very long tail which hangs down the left side of the oval, curving around the bottom. Inside the oval following the outline of the cirle, on the top is written the following: "Mono." Below the circle, also curved is the following: "Gram". In script in the middle of the cross in the circle is written: "Alcoa". Below the oval and monkey tail in small block letters is: "Trade Mark Registered - Made in Canada".

A bulky black box made of galvanized sheet metal folded over at the seams and rolled at the edges. Top is hinged at back and closes over small metal lip with hasp for locking at front. Three metal plates riveted to back have been cut off close to rivets with the two lower plates apparently having been joined together as a single piece of metal. Outside roughly painted black except for area that would have been covered by the strap of metal between the rivets in the back. Interior shows rusty rings on bottom and runs down sides.

Three penlight style flashlights. (a) cigar shaped metal red cap at front covering small bulb which protrudes slightly from end of cap. (b) long, narrow, rectangular blue plastic, square at ends with tiny light bulb protruding slightly at one end. Long metal strip inset along length of one side must act as switch (somehow), and bends back on itself to form pocket clip. (c) Small, flat, red plastic with bucking zebra and "Burgess" moulded into one side. Tiny light bulb protrudes from front with grey metal switch-button on side of case just above. Long, metal strip along length of top swings up from back for access to interior.
